A hat-trick from Janine Beckie helped Manchester City into a 4-0 second-leg win over Lugano to secure their position at the Women’s Champions League.
Leading 7-1 from the first leg, City picked up where they left off at Switzerland – Beckie lifting on the keeper after a pass by Keira Walsh.
The Canada striker lashed in to complete her drool and after got on the conclusion of a Walsh pass to make it 2-0.
Sub Pauline Bremer rounded the horn to wrap an 11-1 aggregate victory.
The Swiss league runners-up of last season offered little resistance, together with City director Nick Cushing ready to take off Walsh and England skipper Steph Houghton on the 55-minute mark after the third aim of Beckie.
The result means City improved their efforts in the contest last season, when Atletico Madrid knocked out in the previous 32 them.
Elsewhere, England winger Nikita Parris scored twice as a victory that was aggregate to be completed by holders Lyon thrashed facet Ryazan 7-0.
The two City and Lyon is going to be seeded with all the matches to be performed on 30-31 and also the 16-17 October, in Monday draw.
